Enjoy: computers (professional geek), time with family and friends, photography, outdoors, traveling, reading, and swimming.

Don't enjoy: dumb drivers, zealots, paperwork, getting mauled by bears (or crocodiles, or cougars), losing my hair, and a few other things that may seem strange if I were to put them up here.

I found SmugMug when reviewing places to print my photos, and saw it as a neat place to do most of the things with photos that I want to do (have personal space for photo sharing, allow high-res downloads to friends and family, offer the ability to have prints made, unlimited space for storage, and backups...what else could you want?) Prior to this, I had been hosting my own family photos (I may continue to do that with the bulk of photos, since the only thing about SmugMug I don't like is uploading photos). I Hope to post many of the previous family photos on here and get some prints made, then upload all the recent (and upcoming) photos to share with family and friends.

Since I share the photos openly, I am thinking of password protecting the 'family' shots (those of the wife and children) for the obvious reasons. If you are a friend or family member and haven't gotten a password to see the various family photos, send me an email and ask for one.
